Cans for habitat

Cans for Habitat is a partnership between The Aluminum Association and Habitat for Humanity International that promotes the value of aluminum can recycling. Households in Madison and Clark Counties collect and donate their aluminum cans which are recycled by Novelis. EKU collects and donates all aluminum cans on campus to Habitat as and with their help 9,780 lbs of aluminum cans were recycled from across Madison and Clark Counties. Cans are recycled in Berea at Novelis and proceeds are then donated to Habitat!

If you have spare aluminum cans, there are various "Can House" locations throughout Madison and Clark Counties where you can drop them off. Click any of the locations below to view directions!

Do you have an older car, truck, van, trailer, RV, motorcycle or boat taking up valuable space in your driveway or yard?  Car donations support Habitat for Humanity’s local and global mission of creating simple, decent homes in our communities by working with people in need who are committed and able to become homeowners.

By donating a car to our vehicle donation program, you can help Habitat for Humanity of Madison & Clark Counties build houses in partnership with families in need of a hand up, not a hand out.  Your donated vehicle will help us finish and build homes in Madison and Clark Counties.
